We always talk about how time flies.....but it's never more evident than when a new year rolls around.
I've heard it said that the older you get, the more it's like Christmas every three months.
So true!
There's so much to be thankful for.......
2015 brought the good and the bad.
But there's always good things we can dwell on.
And we've made it to 2016, right?! :)
My family is celebrating Christmas today.
Last week, my married children had a chance to celebrate with their in-laws, etc.
And this allowed us to have a longer time together today than we would have had last week
if we'd have done it when everyone had somewhere else to go.
It seemed like a great idea to delay it a week in theory,
but it was so weird for Christmas Eve and Day to roll around
with very little to resemble the holiday.
Plus, I'm one of those people that loves to put my Christmas decorations up early,
and then take them down right after Christmas.
So it's been hard to relax knowing I have to take my decorations down the first week of January.
I'm so OCD! lol
I wish you all a VERY Happy New Year with more blessings than you could ever imagine!
