Personal Side
A lovely week.....preparing for the Ukraine trip.
I flooded and airbrushed 200 small cookies to take with me on the trip.
I love being able to give everyone that I encounter there a cookie. :)
I'm miserable at airbrushing......but I'm happy to say that with my new airbrush,
I'm well on my way to using it on a regular basis.
For some reason, the airbrush was "scary" to me.
But now that I've taken it apart, cleaned it, and put it back together again (and it worked!),
I feel so much more comfortable with it. Yeah!
Next week at this time, I will be arriving in Ukraine.
I'm excited.....but also overwhelmed with all the things to do between now and then.
But I'm trying my best to enjoy the process.
Because I believe anticipation is the best part (or the worst part.....depending upon what it is!).
I work at the hospital this weekend.....and then
I can dive completely into packing and finalizing things for the trip.
Monday through Wednesday of next week will be a FLURRY of activity. haha
You know how it is before you plan to go out of town.
Internet is always iffy in Ukraine.....so hopefully I can continue to communicate well while I'm there.
We'll see.......(one of our favorite phrases while on a Ukraine mission trip).

Graduation Cap & Tassel Cookies from a couple of years ago.
With the help of my new AirGenie I was able to airbrush pearl lace
onto 200 cookies bound for Ukraine in hardly any time at all.
Plus, I started by taking the airbrush apart, cleaning it,
putting it back together.....and it actually worked!!!
