Busy Week for Mothers!

It's only been a week since I posted last.....but it feels like a LOT longer. lol I've done 150+ cookies this week and I'm exhausted. That many not seem like a number worthy of exhausting this mother......but along with the cookies I've done so much more.....help bring my son, Neil, home from college.......find out about another foot surgery I need to have after going to the orthopedic surgeon Wednesday :-(....... prepare for my husband's 53rd birthday yesterday......and so much more. I look forward to tomorrw......MOTHER's Day......so I can rest. ;-)

So......to start off with, here's the birthday cookies I made for my husband to take to work yesterday. This was my first time with primary colors. I like how they turned out......not as much as I like the "girly" colors.....but I still like them.

I did lots of Mother's Day bouquets this week......so I decided to try to make a "tag" cookie to place in the middle of them.

Here's a shot of the tag in the middle of a bouquet.

And three of my Mothers Day bouquets squished together.....

Someone requested one of these birdhouses with some bees "flying" across.

And here's another request......rainbow sunflowers.

And a final request......patchwork hearts (originally made at Valentines Day).

I wanted to make a cool MOM cookies.....so I hand cut these and added a lady bug and bee to each one. :-)

I'm getting ready to write a second post tonight to include all my "girly" cookies for Mother's Day.
