Bow Cookie (Tutorial)

The coolest thing about a bow cookie.......
you can use a bow tie cookie cutter (which are super popular right now)! :)

Here's a couple of my favorites:

Hair Bow Cookie Cutters from Cheap Cookie Cutters

To make a bow cookie, you'll need two colors of glaze.
First you'll need the main color of the bow, and then a color for inside the loop.
In one example above, the bow is gold with a white inner loop.
In the other example, a lighter color purple made the inner loop of a dark purple bow.

Start by adding the inside of the loop. Allow it to dry for at least 30 minutes.
Then outline and flood the two sides of the bow as seen below.

Once the glaze has dried for about 30 minutes,
use a 1.5 PME tip to add an outline of the bow sides and the loop.

Allow the sides to dry for about 1 hour.
Use the end of a boo-boo stick to add some crease marks to the side bows as shown.
Outline and flood the center knot.

If desired, add some "drama" to the bow by brushing on some
gold luster dust mixed with vodka.
