The big day has come and gone.
My dear son, Neil, is now married to his lovely bride, Becca.
Right away, I knew I wanted to make cookies for this very special event.
It was one of those love gifts I couldn't resist taking the time for.
Becca insisted that I make simple cookies so it wouldn't stress me.
We decided together that I would make three designs.
Since she was planning to have a winter wonderland with white "snowy" branches,
Becca and I chose a simple cookie with a snowy branch.
Next came the frilly heart.....this was my favorite of the three.
And then I did a monogram "S" cookie.
When we first started talking about wedding cookies back in September,
I expressed an interest in making a 3D wedding cake.
So even though it wasn't "on the list".....I decided to make Neil & Becca a special cookie.
I had a lot of fun with this one. :)
The wedding was beautiful.....but then I guess I'm a bit bias. ;)
(All of these photos are my own personal iPhone photos.)
The family.....with a new lovely daughter. :)
I'm so proud of my boy....
The entire wedding party....
A sweet moment during the wedding...
Of course, I made Neil & Becca pose with some cookies. ;)
My favorite shot of the 3D wedding cake cookie.....all dressed up.
Congratulations to my dear son, Neil, and his bride, Becca!
What a great way to start the new year of 2013.
