Sunny-Side-Up Egg Cookies (Tutorial)

While planning the set of breakfast cookies for Mothers Day,
I immediately thought of using edible clay for the egg yolks.  :)

Cutting out an oval cookie, use the sides of the cutter to put random "dents" into the egg cookie.

Outline and flood the entire cookie with white 10-second glaze.

Dry the cookie overnight.
Brush on dry black luster dust.

Tint some edible glaze molding clay with egg yellow gel.
Knead the gel into the clay very well.
Roll a piece of yellow clay into a ball.

Cut it in half and place one half onto the white glazed egg cookie.
Add some additional brushes of black luster dust to the "yolk" portion of the cookie.

Make an equal mixture of corn syrup and vodka.
Brush over the entire egg cookie including the "yolk".
Immediately sprinkle white and black sanding sugar onto the egg cookie.
