Personal Side
A good week. :)
Lots of cookies involved....that's always a good thing.
I did two very different collections this week.
That was pushing the limits a bit, but I am working hard to get ahead for when I'm gone for a month.
I tried using my dehydrator again this week to help speed up the drying process.
I'm learning when I can and can't use it.
Sadly, I can't flood cookies and put them directly in the dehydrator.
They will collapse, for sure. :(
However, if I let them sit for a while and THEN put them in the dehydrator, it works well.
And it works REALLY well for using texture mats.
In fact, it was the best turn out I've had with texture mats. Yeah!
I can hardly believe it is May already.
We are supposed to have cold weather tonight and tomorrow.
Some places have tons of snow......that's INCREDIBLE.
Mother's Day is next week.
What is wrong with this picture? ;)
I leave for my England/Ukraine trip in just one month.
I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. :)
There's much to do in these next four weeks to get ready.
Next week will be my last week of "random cookies" to decorate.
Then I've got to start working on prep work for the trip.
Plus, I have to make tons of mini cookies for the visit to Ukraine.
It will be fun.
The anticipation is always the best part....
