Hurray....I've done some different cookes besides pumpkins, leaves, acorns, and candy corn. lol Since I made the fall variety five different times, I had them down pat, but I was getting a little tired of them. Yesterday I did TURKEYS!
These were very challenging, but oh so fun, and turned out super cute. It took lots of time to put each line of color before I pulled a toothpick through the icing at several angles. My hand was nearly numb afterwards!
I was laughing at myself after I had already started cleaning up.....I forgot to add the turkey legs on the circles!!! LOL Oh well....they still look fine without legs.
Next week I'll be doing my first Christmas cookies of the season for Treat the Troops. I can hardly wait. I'm also going to be doing a gingerbread house with my friend, Pam, and hope to add some decorated gingerbread men to the scene this time. :-)))))))
Happy Thanksgiving to you all. The Lord has certainly blessed us in HUGE ways. I am forever grateful to Him.
