Hi there! It has been a very long time since I posted on this cookie blog. Right after my last post in March, we were suddenly plunged into an amazing adventure of fixing up our older house, putting it on the market, and acquiring this most amazing new house on June 19. It is truly a gift from God and I am SO THANKFUL for God's blessings.
My kitchen has a wrap-around breakfast bar with the sink in the center of it.
From my point of view, the best part of the new house is the kitchen!!!! It is probably three times bigger than my former kitchen and it is the centerpiece of the house. When I stand at the kitchen sink, I can see into nearly every room of the house. I love it!
It has been interesting to orient myself in the new kitchen. It is very exciting, but also frustrating at times. I feel like I am taking lots of extra steps and not always doing things at the right spot.....but I'm learning every day, and getting better and better.

We've ordered bar stools, so my family can sit around me as I'm working in the kitchen. :-)
