When my dear friend who teaches piano lessons asked me to make some cookies for her spring piano recital, i immediately started thinking of all the music symbols and how they could be displayed on cookies in the most elegant way. Simple is often the best choice. 

Basic shapes with just white and black glaze produced very recognizable musical cookies that were simple and fun.
