BBQ Kabob Decorated Cookie (Tutorial)

When dreaming about a BBQ cookie set for Fathers Day, a kabob cookie came to mind.

And with the help of Ronee of That's A Nice Cookie Cutter, a kabob cookie cutter was born.

This cookie requires green, yellow, red, brown, white, and gray icing colors.

Start with the outer three veggies (green pepper, mushroom, and cherry tomato)
by outlining and flooding them as photo shows below.

Next add the steak (brown) and yellow pepper.

Allow the cookie to dry for at least 1 hour (to prevent bleeding).

Add the metal (gray) kabob stick.
(see photo below)

Allow the cookies to dry overnight.

Make a mixture of silver luster dust with some vodka or clear extract (i.e. almond).
Paint over all the parts of the kabob stick.

Use a brown food color marker to make some grill lines on the veggies and meat.
(see photo below)
