Cathedral Window Quilt Pattern Decorated Cookies (Tutorial)
I saw this cool Instagram post by ASpoonfulSugar and
knew immediately I wanted to try to cookie-fy this quilted pattern. :)
It's called Cathedral Window pattern.
The hardest part is cutting the "quilt blocks" with cookie dough.
A custom cutter and embosser would be nice, but for now, I used a standard circle cutter.
It's a little tricky and not super precise, but it's doable.

Once the cookies are baked and cooled, outline and flood all the "football" shapes in white glaze.

Next, add colored glaze (and patterns, if you'd like) to the inner "cross" shape of each circle.

After the white glaze has dried for at least 30 minutes,
add an additional layer of white glaze to the outer edges of each "football" shape.

Such a pretty quilt pattern.......
