Rustic Autumn Leaf Cookies (Tutorial)

This certainly isn't the first time making autumn leaf cookies,
but the texture achieved on this set was more than satisfying.

Using a very thick glaze (one that you could roll up a small piece into a ball by hand),
cover the surface of leaf cookies using a knife.
(see photo below)

The glaze is so thick that it will hold the rough surface desired.

You can make vein lines in the leaves right away using a boo boo stick or knife.

Dry the cookies overnight.

Brush the cookies with petal dust using a loose brush.
Dusts Used:
Caramel, Chocolate, and Deep Brown
Sunflower
(The orange and red leaves were painted with gel color since I didn't have those petal dusts,
but the red and orange petal dusts should work as well as the sunflower and brown dusts.)
