My first try at soccer cookies. I was a little hesitant because I've heard so many cookiers complain about how hard soccer balls are. But upon researching it, I found that there was a simpler, more symmetrical approach that was so much easy. That was a relief. Piping pentagons is hard enough.....but doing it several times on a round cookie and trying to make it look authentic seems to be a HUGE challenge.

So I added a few other cookies and it all came together. Phewwww.....that is a relief. :)

My son has me doing a fun bunch of cookies this week.
